Copyright and trademarks

Ownership

Lulu EMR is owned by Stefan Filipovski. This includes the desktop app for macOS and Windows, the browser version, Lulu EMR for iPhone, Lulu Sync and the portable viewer, together with their source code, object code, structure, screens and interface text, exercise library, figures, templates, handouts, documentation and artwork. Lulu EMR is protected by the copyright laws of the United States and other countries and by international treaties.

Lulu EMR is licensed, not sold, under the Lulu EMR Software License Agreement. No right, title or interest in it passes to anyone who installs or uses it, except the license that agreement grants.

Trademarks

Lulu EMR™, the Lulu EMR logo and the cat design in it (Lulu, a black-and-white tuxedo cat with a folded right ear, sitting in the corner of the letter L) are trademarks of Stefan Filipovski. They may not be used in connection with any other product or service, or in any way that suggests sponsorship or endorsement, without written permission.

Other names and marks belong to their owners. Apple, Mac, macOS, iPhone, Face ID and Touch ID are trademarks of Apple Inc. Microsoft, Windows, OneDrive, Outlook and Windows Hello are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Their mention identifies compatible products and implies no affiliation or endorsement.

Third-party components

Lulu EMR includes open-source components that remain the property of their authors and are used under their own licenses. They are listed, with their license texts, in Third-party notices.

Your records

Records that you or your organization enter into Lulu EMR belong to you or your organization, not to Stefan Filipovski. They stay on your own devices.

Permissions and reports of misuse

Copying, distributing, modifying or reverse engineering Lulu EMR is not permitted except as the license agreement allows or as Stefan Filipovski permits in writing. To ask for permission, or to report unauthorized copying, distribution or use of Lulu EMR or its marks:
